Council on Legislation
As we are now in the third quarter of Rotary’s 2007-08 year, there is
less than 12 months to submit proposed legislation for the 2010
Council on Legislation. RI must receive proposed legislation, along
with its certification form signed by the district governor, no later than31 December
2008.
“Eighty percent of success is
showing up.” Woody Allen
Woody Allen’s thought is particularly apt when applied to PETS.
The presidents-elect training seminar (PETS) can help make a
president’s year one of the best of his or her Rotary career and a
productive year for the club. Get the most from PETS by reviewing
the Club President’s Manual . Assess and set goals using the
Planning Guide for Effective Rotary Clubs. Also consider preparing a list of questions to
discuss with your governor-elect, assistant governor, and fellow presidents-elect during
PETS. …Show up!
